“Ideal repair for decayed or damaged timber”

How to Use

HB42 Restore 4 Hour

Designed to turnaround jobs within a day, it sets within 4 hours, making it perfect for larger repairs to rotted or damaged wood and is particularly suitable for vertical or overhead applications. Its thixotropic, low-sag consistency allows for easy shaping and clean cut-off, ensuring precise application and a smooth finish.

HB42 Restore 1 Hour

Designed for when a speedy repair is required, it sets within 1 hour, making it perfect for smaller repairs to rotted or damaged wood.

HB42 Restore 4 Hour

Remove all soft, loose, or decayed timber, and make sure the surface is completely free from dust before applying the Rebuild Stabiliser. Refer to the preparation and usage instructions for the Rebuild Stabiliser before proceeding with the application of the Rebuild resin. Press the clutch plate at the rear of the applicator gun and draw the pistons fully back. Insert the cartridge into the tool, ensuring the smaller-diameter tube goes in first. One of the piston plates is slightly smaller to match this tube. Unscrew the end cap and squeeze the handle to dispense the desired amount of filler onto a mixing board. Clean any excess material from the cartridge tip and replace the cap. Combine the two components with a folding motion using a putty knife (or similar tool) until the green tint disappears and the mixture becomes a consistent colour—this confirms the resin and hardener are properly blended. Start by applying small amounts of filler to prevent air entrapment, then build up with larger applications. Finish by smoothing the surface and allow the repair to fully cure.

HB42 Restore 1 Hour

Remove all decayed, loose, or soft wood, and make sure the area is completely free of dust before applying any wood stabilising treatment. Place the cartridge into the applicator gun, take off the end cap, and dispense the desired amount of filler onto a mixing board. Only prepare as much as you can use within the working period—around five minutes. Mix the components thoroughly with a putty knife (or similar tool) using a folding motion until the blend is uniform and streak-free, ensuring proper combination of the resin and hardener. Begin by applying small amounts of filler to avoid trapping air, then gradually build up with larger quantities. Finish the repair by smoothing the surface and allow it to fully cure.

Perfect for substantial repairs to decayed or damaged timber

“I found the restore really easy to mix, it’s lovely to apply, a nice smooth formula that levels out lovely with a filling blade over it. The 1 hour stuff sets quick and rock solid, giving you full confidence in its ability to bind to the timber and provide a rock solid base for painting on. Once set it sands down lovely with a power sander with minimal effort.”
